If you do not see one in your area, it means that, as of now, there are no approved Pre-Apprenticeship Programs there and that nobody will be given priority placement over you.

The Apprentice enrolled in the Commercial Inside Wireman Apprenticeship Program works under the direct supervision of a journeyperson electrician installing electrical distribution centers, panel boards, sub panels, conduit systems, motor controls, lighting, fire alarms, and temporary wiring in commercial buildings. WECA Apprentices attend classes in an accelerated and intensive format consisting of full-time classroom training and hands-on labs for two consecutive weeks, approximately every five to seven months.
